Royal Holloway, University of London is a public research university and a constituent member of the federal University of London, formed from Bedford College (1849) and Royal Holloway College (1886). Its main site is a parkland campus at Egham in Surrey, about 40 minutes by train from central London, with recognised strengths in information security, drama, music, geography and the sciences.
