About
The University of Reading is a research university based on the parkland Whiteknights campus two miles from Reading town centre and about half an hour by train from London. Founded in 1892 as an extension college of Christ Church, Oxford, it gained its royal charter in 1926 and is known for meteorology and climate science, agriculture and food, and Henley Business School.
