About
Swansea University is a public research university in south-west Wales, founded in 1920 as University College of Swansea. It teaches across two seafront campuses and has established strengths in engineering, materials science, computer science, law, medicine and sport and exercise science. Its medical school and the Computational Foundry research facility are among its larger investments.
