RMIT University is a public research university founded in 1887 as the Working Men's College and one of Australia's oldest higher education institutions. Its main campus sits in central Melbourne, with further campuses at Brunswick and Bundoora. RMIT is known for design, architecture, engineering, business and technology, and teaches vocational as well as degree programs.
