Why study at University of Southampton, Malaysia?

University of Southampton Malaysia is the first international branch campus of the University of Southampton, set up at the Malaysian government's invitation and now based at Eco Galleria in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. It teaches foundation years and degrees in engineering, computer science, business and economics. Many programmes are split-campus, with the final years taken in the UK.

A 150,000 sq ft multi-storey campus occupied since October 2021, built for up to 2,000 students and equipped with electrical and electronic laboratories, an aerospace lab with wind tunnel, a design studio and a 12-terminal Bloomberg suite.

Top Achiever Scholarship - 100 percent tuition fee waiver for foundation entrants with 8A+/A* in SPM or O-Level (6A+/A* for the Business Foundation Year), open to Malaysian and international applicants
High Achiever Scholarship (Foundation) - tiered fee waivers from MYR 2,500 up to MYR 13,000 depending on SPM or O-Level results
Top Achiever Scholarship (Undergraduate) - 60 percent of Year 1 fees plus 40 percent of Year 2 for engineering, or 60 percent of Year 1 plus 20 percent of Years 2 and 3 for other programmes, for the highest A-Level grades
Exceptional Achiever Scholarship (Undergraduate) - MYR 30,000 for engineering programmes or MYR 25,000 for other programmes
High Achiever Scholarship (Undergraduate) - MYR 13,000 for engineering programmes or MYR 10,000 for other programmes
