About
The University of Lancashire is a public university based in the centre of Preston, known as the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) until it adopted its current name in 2025. It traces its history to 1828 and teaches a large, career-focused subject range including health and medicine, engineering, business, journalism and forensic science, with campuses in Lancashire, Cumbria and Cyprus.
