Cardiff University is a public research university in the Welsh capital, founded in 1883 and a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive UK universities. It teaches across three colleges covering arts, humanities and social sciences; biomedical and life sciences; and physical sciences and engineering, and is well known for journalism, medicine, dentistry, architecture, psychology and law.

Cathays Park Campus
Home to most of Cardiff University’s academic schools, Cathays Park combines historic Portland stone buildings and tree-lined avenues with modern laboratories, lecture theatres and study spaces. Cardiff’s dedicated healthcare campus is home to the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Healthcare Sciences.
