Cardiff University is a public research university in the Welsh capital, founded in 1883 and a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive UK universities. It teaches across three colleges covering arts, humanities and social sciences; biomedical and life sciences; and physical sciences and engineering, and is well known for journalism, medicine, dentistry, architecture, psychology and law.
