Sheffield Hallam University is a large public university in Sheffield, England, founded in 1843 as the Sheffield School of Design and granted university title in 1992. It is one of the UK's biggest universities and takes an applied, career-focused approach, with substantial provision in nursing and allied health, business, engineering, computing, sport science and art and design.
