About
The University of Newcastle is a public research university in New South Wales whose main campus sits in bushland at Callaghan, on the edge of the city of Newcastle. Established in 1965 as the autonomous successor to Newcastle University College, it teaches across engineering and environment, health and medicine, business and law, education and the creative arts.
