Oregon State University is a public land-grant research university founded in 1868 in Corvallis, Oregon, and holds land, sea, space and sun grant designations. It is recognised for engineering, forestry, agricultural sciences, oceanography and pharmacy, and operates a second degree-granting campus in Bend plus a coastal research campus in Newport.
