Toronto Metropolitan University is a public university in downtown Toronto, founded in 1948 as the Ryerson Institute of Technology and renamed in 2022.   • International Student Leadership Award (ISLA) - CAD 10,000 entrance-only, non-renewable award for up to 53 international students entering their first year of a full-time undergraduate degree with a final admission average of at least 86%, awarded on academics, leadership and a personal statement
  • International Student Leadership Award (ISLA) - Winter - CAD 10,000 entrance-only, non-renewable award for up to 20 international students starting a full-time undergraduate degree in the January intake and paying international fees
  • Guaranteed and renewable entrance scholarship - automatic award of CAD 750 to CAD 3,000 in year one depending on final admission average (86% and above), renewable annually for a potential total of CAD 3,000 to CAD 12,000
  • President's Entrance Scholarship - CAD 10,000 for 12 secondary school graduates who demonstrate academic accomplishment, leadership, original thought and creative ability
  • International English Language Institute Merit Scholarship - entrance award listed among the scholarships that international students may combine up to a maximum overall annual value of CAD 15,000
