Why study at University of Ottawa?
The University of Ottawa is a public research university in downtown Ottawa, founded in 1848 as the College of Bytown and given university status in 1866. It is the largest English-French bilingual university in the world and teaches degrees in both official languages, with a French immersion stream, and its position beside Canada's parliamentary and hospital districts supports strengths in law, public policy, medicine and health sciences.

- International English Admission Scholarship - CAD 7,500 per term, up to CAD 60,000 across a four-year degree, awarded automatically to international students with a valid study permit and an admission average of at least 80% who enrol full-time in an approved English-language undergraduate programme in Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management
- International English Academic Excellence Scholarship - CAD 10,000 (CAD 5,000 per term), 100 awards, for international students with an admission average of at least 90% in an approved English-language undergraduate programme; can be combined with the International English Admission Scholarship
- Differential Tuition Fee Exemption Scholarship - tuition reduction of CAD 12,500 to CAD 18,000 per eligible term (CAD 12,500 in Arts, Education, Social Sciences and most Health Sciences programmes, CAD 16,000 at the Telfer School of Management and CAD 18,000 in Engineering) for international students enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme taught in French or in the French Immersion Stream
