Why study at University of the West of England?
The University of the West of England, Bristol, known as UWE Bristol, is a public university that grew out of Bristol Polytechnic and gained university status in 1992, with educational roots in a merchant navigation school of 1595. It has a strongly professional and vocational focus, with well-established provision in engineering, health, business, law and the creative industries.

- UWE Bristol Global Success Scholarship - up to GBP 9,000 of tuition fee reduction across three years (GBP 2,500 in year one, GBP 3,000 in year two, GBP 3,500 in year three) for international undergraduate students, subject to engagement activities
- UWE Bristol Postgraduate Success Scholarship - GBP 2,500 for international taught postgraduates who pay at least GBP 8,500 of tuition, or GBP 3,500 for those who pay their fees in full upfront, applied to the first year only
- International Student Scholarships - up to GBP 4,000 in the first year for international and EU fee payers on undergraduate or taught postgraduate courses, awarded at the university's discretion with no application needed
- GREAT Scholarships - a minimum of GBP 10,000 towards a one-year postgraduate course, with one award each for citizens of Egypt, India and Turkey, run with the British Council
- College of Arts, Technology and Environment Dean's International Scholarship - GBP 5,000 for a postgraduate applicant on a full-time MA within the college
- FutureAI Scholarship - two awards of GBP 4,000 for international postgraduate students with an interest in artificial intelligence
