Victoria University of Wellington (Te Herenga Waka) is a public research university in New Zealand's capital, founded in 1897 as Victoria College and independent since 1962. It teaches around 21,000 students across faculties covering humanities and social sciences, science, engineering, education, health, law, business and government, and architecture and design, and is particularly known for law, public policy and the humanities.

- VUW Undergraduate International Scholarship - NZD 15,000 credited to first-year tuition fees for new international students entering a full-time on-campus Bachelor's degree; no separate application, assessed automatically with the programme application
- VUW Postgraduate International Scholarship - NZD 10,000 credited to tuition fees for new international students entering a full-time on-campus Master's (120, 180 or 240 points) or Postgraduate Diploma; no separate application
- International School-Leaver Excellence Scholarship - NZD 10,000 towards second-year tuition fees for high-achieving international students who completed Years 12 and 13 at a New Zealand secondary school; can be held with the Undergraduate International Scholarship
- Wellington Doctoral Scholarship - NZD 32,000 a year stipend plus domestic tuition fees for up to three years, awarded on academic merit to full-time PhD applicants; considered as part of the PhD admission application
